This policy explains how the operator of Room Reset Kit handles information submitted to or generated by this landing page.
What We Collect
- Email address: the address you voluntarily submit to receive the Room Reset Starter Kit and related emails.
- Signup and consent data: the email provider may record information such as the signup and confirmation times, IP address, and browser or device details.
- Traffic-source data: the page can retain UTM parameters that identify the Pinterest group, pin, campaign, and keyword that brought you here.
- Technical and usage data: the hosting provider may keep standard server logs. This site also runs a small first-party engagement measurement: when the page loads, and again if the page is still open 30 seconds later, the page sends a request to our own endpoint at beacon.roomresetkit.com. That request records only a date, the pin identifier from the URL, and which of the two events occurred, and it is added to a running count. It sets no cookies, stores no IP address, and creates no identifier for you or your device, so these counts cannot be linked back to an individual visitor or to your email address. No third-party analytics service is enabled on this site.
This page does not ask for your name or payment information. Information collected automatically depends on the services actually configured at launch.
How We Use It
- To deliver the Starter Kit you requested (after you confirm your subscription)
- To send the welcome email sequence described on the signup page
- To occasionally send follow-up emails about the same topic. Every commercial email includes a clear unsubscribe link.
- To understand which pins and pages lead to visits and signups, troubleshoot the site, and protect it from abuse
We do not sell or rent your email address. We share information only with service providers that help operate the site and email program, when you direct us to do so, or when disclosure is required by law.
Third-Party Services
Email signup and delivery are handled by MailerLite. Hosting is provided by GitHub Pages. Our engagement counter runs on Cloudflare Workers under a domain we control (beacon.roomresetkit.com); Cloudflare processes those requests as our infrastructure provider and receives no identifying information from us beyond what is inherent in serving a web request. No third-party analytics service is enabled; if that changes, this policy will be updated to name the provider. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices.
Cookies & Tracking
The current configuration does not include advertising cookies, and we do not use cookies for measurement. Pinterest links can include UTM parameters in the URL; these parameters are not cookies, but they may be stored with signup records and are included in the aggregate engagement counts described above. Our engagement counter uses one short-lived browser storage flag (sessionStorage key rrk_e30_sent) purely so the 30-second event is not counted twice in the same browsing session; it holds no identifier and is discarded when you close the tab. The hosting or email provider may use essential technologies as described in its privacy notice.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep subscription information while you are subscribed and for 24 months afterward where needed to honor opt-outs, maintain consent records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. The aggregate engagement counts contain no personal information and are kept only as daily totals. Hosting and email providers may use different retention periods under their own policies.
Your Choices
- Unsubscribe: every commercial email contains an unsubscribe link. We will honor a valid opt-out request within the period required by applicable law.
- Access, correction, or deletion: depending on where you live, you may be able to ask what personal information we hold, correct it, request deletion, object to or restrict certain uses, or withdraw consent.
- Contact: send a request to hello@roomresetkit.com. We may need to verify that the request relates to your email address.
International Processing
The operator is based in Japan. Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use the transfer safeguards made available by those providers.
Children's Privacy
This site and email program are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted an email address.
Email Consent & Opt-Out
The signup uses double opt-in: emails beyond the confirmation message are sent only after the confirmation link is clicked. Commercial messages identify the sender, include the operator's valid physical postal address, and provide an unsubscribe method.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when the site, service providers, or legal requirements change. The date at the top will show the latest revision.
